Best Hip-Hop Song by Yung Angie

NMM Selects Best Hip-Hop Song by Yung Angie ‘The Princess of Rap’
SACRAMENTO, CA — April 11, 2007, NetMusicMakers.com (“NMM”) today announced that rising Hip-Hop talent, Yung Angie, and her song, No Introduction, has been selected NMM’s Best Hip-Hop Song for February 2007. Teamed with multi-platinum and gold recording Hip-Hop artist, musician, producer, and songwriter, Studio ToN, Yung Angie was selected from over a thousand entries. The winning song will be featured in an upcoming CD release of Guitar World magazine and receive airplay on NMM Radio’s Hip-Hop and Rap Channel, Flava.

A native of McCrory, Arkansas, and dubbed “The Princess of Rap,” Yung Angie began her career at an early age. By 11, Angie had written and recorded numerous songs, winning several talent shows. At 13, with the help of her father and associates, she released a demo entitled, “HOTTISH” which caught the ear of a local record producer the led to her first CD. Now 16, Yung Angie has established her own blend of original lyrics layered between solid bass, crunks, and synths. “I chose this song because it has all of the things I was looking for,” stated Hip-Hop and Rap producer, Studio ToN. “The production and mix is good, the recording is good, the performance is great, great delivery, very convincing, and the music is original with nice mixing edits, good lyrical content. This song sounds very modern considering what plays on the radio today, so that’s why I think this is the overall best song.” Check out Studio ToN’s discography at http://www.netmusicmakers.com/Include/StaticPages/News/studio_ton.html.

Summons for Jury Duty Scams

Reggie Graves, our State of California law enforcement hero has issued the following alert.  Please take this very seriously.  Thank you.

OPSEC alert…pls be aware.

This has been verified by the FBI (Their link is also included below).

It is spreading fast so be prepared should you get this call.  Most of us take those summons for jury duty seriously, but enough people skip out on their civic duty, that a new and ominous kind of scam has surfaced.  The caller claims to be a jury coordinator. If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the scammer asks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he or she can verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant.  Give out any of this information and bingo, your identity just got stolen.  The scam has been reported so far in 11 states, including Oklahoma , Illinois and Colorado .  This (scam) is particularly insidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try to bully people into giving information by pretending they’re with the court system.

The FBI and the federal court system have issued nationwide alerts on their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud.
